If you know me, you know I surround myself with opinionated, smart, funny, worldly women who also know how to get down to some gangster rap…. Which is why I’m super, super excited to show off my most recent project - GRAYSON. A showroom I designed for luxury shirting maven Audrey McLoghlin (of Frank and Eileen cult fame) - who also happens to be 1 of my BFFs, work wife, all around bad ass AND she loves to dance to a bit of gangster rap - yep she’s pretty perfect. Audrey’s new shirting brand, named after her fearless daughter, aims to create the perfect button up for women whose priority is to conquer the day while also looking their best. You can find Grayson at Anthropologie and Nordstrom. You can see some of the before and afters of the project here.
Fit for a Duchess.
On the 10-year anniversary of her premium-shirting brand Frank & Eileen (which also happens to be a favorite of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex) Audrey wanted to create a new product exclusively for women who work hard for luxurious products but might not be able to spend $250 for a shirt. With such noble clientele, GRAYSON needed an equally polished space to match - So that’s where I come in….
There’s no place like home.
I was very excited to embark on this project as Audrey’s main prerequisite was for the showroom space to feel like a home, and that, I know exactly how to do.
Just like in a traditional house, you enter through a “patio” area, then move into the living room and main showroom (modeled after a kitchen with an island). The only difference here is the additional features in the back - a large group desk area, design work room and a 12 ft dollhouse… yep, a dollhouse that is bigger than most NYC apartments. MORE PICS.
Women supporting women.
One of the most unique features here is the life sized dollhouse, yes that’s right, a space where Grayson employees children can hang out while Mom is busy making donuts.
As you can see, this was a pretty special project and being able to work with one of my besties to help bring her vision to life was such a wonderful experience. In turn she has supported my business with this collaboration and it was a project unlike any I’ve done before and I am so proud of it. We both love the fit out and hope you do too! P.S. How cute is Grayson?? ——>>>
