It is no surprise to those that know me, I love to eat. I also love a snappy renovation and am always a fan of a good before and after photo. Ergo, this is why my next blog is about dining room renovations with some great before and afters. The dining room (to me) is the heart of the home (also sometimes my office). With most clients, I have found - it is definitely the most underfunded and underused space in a home. One thing 2020 made super clear is that having a good home workspace is a must! Regardless if you’re working from home full time, or if you’ll be working remotely on and off, it’s important that your home office be designed for max productivity. AND why not make it look stylish, you spend a lot of time there, you should absolutely enjoy your surroundings! I always say to clients, spend your money where you spend the most time - whether it is where you sleep, what you drive , or where you work - PLACES YOU SPEND THE MOST TIME IN - SHOULD MAKE YOU HAPPY.

A showroom I designed for luxury shirting maven Audrey McLoghlin (of Frank and Eileen cult fame) - who also happens to be 1 of my BFFs, work wife, all around bad ass AND she loves to dance to a bit of gangster rap - yep she’s pretty perfect. Audrey’s new shirting brand, named after her fearless daughter, aims to create the perfect button up for women whose priority is to conquer the day while also looking their best. Time flies.  Just yesterday, we were frolicking on the beach and now it's Christmas, well Thanksgiving, same same. The holidays can be a perfect time to check some dining room upgrades off your list.  Here are a few DIY (or taskrabbit/thumbtack/handy husband) projects you can do to give your dining room a quick refresh before the entertaining begins.
